# Notifications and Subscription

Token Factory can notify you when something needs your attention, so you don't have to keep checking the console. You choose which notifications you receive and where they are delivered.

Currently, you can receive notifications about budget thresholds.

## Delivery channels

  <thead>
    <tr>
      <th>**Channel**</th>
      <th>**Description**</th>

  <tbody>
    <tr>
      <td>Web console</td>
      <td>The notification center (bell icon) in the top navigation shows an unread badge and your notification history. You can mark notifications as read, mark all as read, and filter by category.</td>
    </tr>

    <tr>
      <td>Email</td>
      <td>Plain emails that include the key details, so you can understand the issue before opening the console. You can add several recipients, including shared mailboxes.</td>
    </tr>
  </tbody>
</table>

## Manage your subscriptions

1. In the Token Factory console, open [**Notifications**](https://tokenfactory.nebius.com/notifications).
2. Select the delivery channels: web console, email, or both.
3. Turn the subscription for a category on or off.
4. To send notifications to more people, add email recipients.

To stop receiving a notification turn the subscription for a category off.

## Budget notifications

A budget is a spending limit for a period. Budget notifications alert you when your spend reaches a threshold you define, so you can act before you overspend.

### Required roles

To create or edit budgets and their notifications, you need the `studio.admin` or `studio.billing-manager` role.

### Create a budget with notifications

1. In the console, go to **Billing** → [**Budgets**](https://tokenfactory.nebius.com/organization/budgets).
2. Create a budget and set its name, amount, currency and period. Optionally, filter the budget by project.
3. Set the alert thresholds, for example 50%, 75% and 90% of the budget.
4. Choose who gets notified. You can add email recipients in addition to subscribed users.

### When notifications are sent

* Each threshold triggers a notification once per budget period. The notification isn't repeated while your spend stays above the threshold.
* The threshold is re-armed when the budget period resets or when you increase the budget.
* A budget only sends notifications. **It doesn't stop usage when the budget is reached.**

### Notification contents

A budget notification includes the budget and organization names, organization ID, currency, actual spend, configured budget and remaining amounts, and the threshold reached.

## Delivery

Each notification is delivered once to each recipient, even if delivery is retried.
