Set up billing

When you sign up for Nebius Token Factory, you are prompted to create a billing account during onboarding. Billing setup is mandatory—you cannot complete onboarding without it. Setting up a billing account does not require adding a bank card. You can view and update your billing details at any time on the Billing page. Upon first sign-up, you receive $1 in trial credit, valid for 30 days.

Payment methods

Bank card

If your payment method is a bank card, you can manually top up your balance at any time.

Automatic charging

When using a bank card, Nebius Token Factory debits your balance in real time. Your card is automatically charged in either of the following cases:

• At the start of the month, if your balance is negative
• When the configured billing threshold is reached

The charge amount is calculated to bring your balance back to zero. If a card charge fails, your account is suspended. To avoid service interruptions, ensure that your payment method remains valid and up to date.

Bank transfer

If your payment method is bank transfer, you can top up your balance manually. To do so, request a proforma invoice from the Nebius sales team. At the beginning of each month, you will also receive an invoice for the previous month’s usage. If your balance was negative at the end of that month, you must pay the invoice using the payment details provided.

Note: Bank transfers are available to companies only and are not supported for individual accounts.

Changing your payment method

• To change your bank card, go to Organisation → Billing details, then click Edit.
• If you are a company, you can switch your payment method to bank transfer by contacting support.

Topping up your balance

To avoid automatic charging, you can manually top up your balance at any time:

1. Click Top up in the top-right corner of the header bar
2. Enter the amount to add, or choose the Promo code option
3. Review your card details and click Continue

Once the top-up is completed, the funds are available immediately.

Applying a promo code

A promo code provides free Nebius Token Factory credits and is typically issued as part of a special offer. Promo codes usually have an expiration date—make sure to apply them before they expire. Promo codes cannot be used to pay outstanding invoices. Any unpaid invoices must still be settled separately. To apply a promo code:

1. In the navigation menu, click your balance
2. Click Top up
3. Select With promo code
4. Enter the promo code and click Top up

After a successful application, your balance increases by the promo code amount.
You can verify this in the Transactions section.

Consumption Monitoring

You can monitor spending across projects, services, and resources on the Usage tab of the Organisation page in the web console. To view detailed charts:

1. Click the chart icon on the right
2. Select an entity type and time period using the filters
3. Hover over chart columns to see usage details for a specific period

You can further refine results using region, project, service, and product filters.

Taxes

Depending on your or your company location, the usage of Nebius AI Cloud resources might be subject to taxes such as Value Added Tax (VAT).

​

Netherlands

Companies registered in the Netherlands and residents of the Netherlands are subject to 21% VAT. VAT amount is listed on invoices on a separate line in USD. We also convert it into EUR and show on another line — it is the same VAT in another currency.

Another EU country

United States

For residents of Texas and Washington, Nebius calculates taxes in accordance with United States tax law. For details, see State and Local Sales Tax Rates. Residents of other states are not charged. The tax amount is listed on invoices on a separate line in USD.
