Data Processing

Data Lab works with several types of data, such as inference logs (chat completions), uploaded datasets, batch inference outputs, and fine-tuning results. To ensure full transparency, this section explains how your data is processed, your level of control, and where processing takes place.

How We Handle Your Data

For all data you submit or generate through Data Lab, including:

• Inference logs - inputs and outputs (unless you enable Zero Data Retention)
• Uploaded datasets
• Filtered datasets
• Batch inference outputs

Nebius Token Factory acts as a Data Processor under the terms of our Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Data retention

Data Lab retains your data as follows:

Data type	Retention
Raw completions not exported to a dataset	Deleted automatically after 1 year
Datasets you upload	Kept until you delete them
Datasets created by exporting completions	Kept until you delete them
Datasets created from completed batch jobs	Kept until you delete them

If you want to keep completions for longer than one year, export them to a dataset before they expire. Datasets have no automatic expiration, so you can delete them at any time.

Processing Location

All Data Lab processing activities, including handling of logs, datasets, batch outputs, and training data, are performed exclusively in the EU-North1 (Finland) data center.

Future Changes

If hosting locations change, we commit to notifying you in advance so you can review compliance implications and adjust your workflows if needed.
